MTelekom to purchase Bulgarian Orbitel

The National Telecommunications Authority of Bulgaria has approved the acquisition of Orbitel, the country's largest alternative wired line telecommunications and internet service provider, by Hungary's dominant telecom operator, Deutsche Telekom-owned Magyar Telekom Rt. Magyar Telekom acquired 100% ownership of Orbitel for Euro 8 million last November, and agreed to invest around Euro 7 million
